How we cross-check each prop firm's ratings
Prop firm scores online almost always come from a single source: each firm's Trustpilot profile mixed with comments from affiliates who get paid to bring in customers. Here we cross three different sources so you can see where they agree and where they diverge.
The El Trader Financiado score comes from reviewing six dimensions per firm: real pricing with discount applied, support quality, rule clarity, available platforms, payout conditions and general reputation. It's not a quick opinion after a call to support. These are the firms we trade with, verify payments on, and monitor plans for every month.
The community score comes from ratings by traders who have used each platform. One rating per account and firm, no comment moderation or hidden filters. If you have experience with any firm, leave your star and help the next trader decide.
The Trustpilot column comes directly from each prop firm's official profile. We show the score as it appears next to the total number of reviews so you can see if the rating has statistical weight. A firm with 4.5/5 and 50 reviews is not the same as one with 4.2/5 and 5,000.
Frequently asked questions about the ranking
How is the prop firm ranking calculated?
First we work out the probability of passing the evaluation: drawdown ÷ (target + drawdown), adjusted for drawdown type, consistency rule, minimum days and daily loss limit. Then we score the funded account — profit split, payout frequency and withdrawal cap, buffer, rules and simultaneous accounts — on a scale with no fixed ceiling. Price is not part of that score: it is the divisor.
What is the value-for-money score in prop firms?
It divides the funded account's score by the expected cost of getting it: not the evaluation price, but that price times the attempts the plan needs on average, plus the activation fee, paid only once when you pass. That is what lets you compare accounts of different sizes and firms: the higher the ratio, the more account you get per dollar.
How often is the ranking updated?
Data is updated whenever a prop firm changes its prices, rules, or conditions. Discounted prices are verified daily. Trustpilot scores are synced periodically.
What is the best futures prop firm in 2026?
It depends on your profile. If you're looking for the lowest price, check the price ranking. If you prioritize the best overall conditions, use the value-for-money ranking. For beginner traders, the experience level ranking recommends affordable accounts to minimize risk while you learn.
