Real opinions
Quick verdict: Lucid Trading is the fastest-growing prop firm in the sector right now and lands at #1 in my top 5 at El Trader Financiado alongside TakeProfit Trader, MFF, Tradeify and Apex. It was the first firm to fund me in the live trading I've been running on YouTube since late April. Very competitive pricing while keeping top-tier features: 90% profit split, no activation fee on any of their plans, payouts in 2 business days, and 13 supported platforms (absolute record). Trustpilot 4.7/5 with over 3,300 reviews in just a year and a half. My rating: 8/10. The only real downside: it's been operating for just over a year — you naturally need to stay cautious with young firms.
Lucid is the young firm that has forced the rest of the sector to move. In just over a year since launch, they already have 3,300+ Trustpilot reviews averaging 4.7, aggressive conditions, and a platform catalog nobody can match. They innovate fast and it shows.
Since late April I've been trading live with several futures prop firms on my YouTube channel, and the first firm to fund me was Lucid — with a Flex 50K funded account. Before that I'd already been funded with a Flex 50K and a Pro 50K, without managing to withdraw from either. The public live trading on YouTube shows you exactly what it's like: instant activation after passing the eval, clear rules, and the funded account working with no surprises. When I get my first withdrawal, I'll update this — and you'll see it live on the channel too.
What I like most is the very competitive pricing while keeping top-tier features. Lucid is one of the cheapest options in the niche when you consider total cost: no activation fee on any of the three plans, one-time payment for the evaluation (no monthly subscription), 90% profit split, and payouts in 2 business days. With code ETFPROMO the LucidFlex 50K comes out to around $70 all in through to funded. Finding that price-to-value ratio in this sector is rare.
On top of that there are the 13 supported platforms (NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, Rithmic, Quantower, ATAS, R\|Trader Pro, MotiveWave, Sierra Chart, Jigsaw, Bookmap, MultiCharts, and Tradesea) — the absolute widest catalog out there. If your regular platform exists, Lucid probably supports it.
What I don't like is the obvious thing with a young firm: it's been operating for just over a year. That's not a knock on the current service — it's just prudence. Payments are coming through fast today, people are happy, there are no reported issues at scale — but the real test of time is still ahead. That's why I recommend Lucid as part of a diversified portfolio, not as your only firm. And then there's LucidScale, the scalable DLL mechanic: it's good, but beginner traders struggle to wrap their heads around it.
My top 5 at El Trader Financiado: Lucid Trading, TakeProfit Trader, MFF, Tradeify and Apex. Lucid earns the #1 spot on merit — what they've done in a year and a half, no one else has matched.

In short: all three are excellent entry options, but they play different games. LucidFlex is a one-time payment: you pay $70 once and you never pay again, no matter how long you take to pass the eval. MFF and Tradeify charge monthly: if you pass fast they come out similar, if it takes longer the cost stacks up. For someone who needs multiple attempts or isn't in a rush, Lucid is mathematically the cheapest option. Tradeify and MFF have more track record; Lucid has more platforms and faster payouts.

Yes, Lucid Trading pays.
The profit split is 90% on all three plans (LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect). Withdrawals are processed in 2 business days, with a minimum of $500.
Methods available: Plaid, WorkMarket/ADP and crypto.
Consistency rule as per plan: 40% on LucidPro, 20% on LucidDirect and no rule on LucidFlex (the latter requires 5 days with minimum profit before first withdrawal).
On Trustpilot it accumulates 4.7 out of 5 with more than 3,000 reviews, which supports that the payout operation works in practice.
Yes, Lucid Trading is legitimate - but there is an important nuance: it is a very new firm.
It's based in USA and was founded in 2025, so it's barely been in business for a year. What makes up for that youth is verifiable data:
Trustpilot: 4.7 stars with over 3,000 reviews.
Platforms: integration with 13 (NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, Rithmic, Quantower and others).
Payouts: via Plaid, ADP and crypto. Support: support@lucidtrading.com.
The model is the industry standard: you pass the evaluation by trading CME futures, they give you an account funded with their capital and you keep 90% of the profit.
If your filter is a firm with years of track record, Lucid does not meet it yet. If your filter is massive reviews and working payout operation, yes.
The active code with El Trader Financiado is `ETFPROMO`. It applies a 50% discount on all plans (including the Direct Pass) during your first 2 purchases. From the third onward, the same code keeps a 40% lifetime on evaluations.
It applies directly at Lucid Trading's checkout. Full terms are at `/discounts/lucid-trading`.
