Lucid Trading launches LucidDaily: daily payouts and four account setups
LucidDaily is Lucid's fourth plan. You pick the evaluation drawdown and whether you want a daily loss limit: four versions of the same plan, each with its own price. Daily payouts and a 90/10 split.

Lucid Trading has added a fourth plan to its futures lineup: LucidDaily, a one-phase evaluation whose funded account allows daily payout requests and which you configure at checkout.

What changes with LucidDaily
LucidDaily sits alongside LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect: it replaces none of them. What sets it apart:
- You configure it at purchase. You pick the evaluation drawdown type (End of Day or Intraday) and whether you want a daily loss limit (DLL). That is four versions of the same plan, each with its own price.
- Daily payouts on the funded account, with no fixed window and no consistency rule.
- 50% consistency during the evaluation only, with a cushion that lets you pass in two days.
- A maximum daily sim profit: hit it and Lucid moves you to a live account automatically.
The four setups
Both settings are chosen at checkout and cannot be changed later: if you want a different combination, you have to buy another account.
- 🟢 DLL on makes the evaluation cheaper. The limit is a soft breach: hitting it locks you out until the next session, you do not lose the account.
- 🟢 Intraday drawdown in the evaluation also brings the price down.
- 🔴 Removing the DLL or asking for EOD makes the evaluation more expensive, between 12% and 20% depending on the combination.
- 🟡 Your DLL choice carries over to the funded account. The funded drawdown, however, is always intraday, whatever you picked for the evaluation.
Evaluation prices (list price, one-time fee)
| Account | Intraday + DLL | EOD + DLL | Intraday no DLL | EOD no DLL |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $100 | $122 | $115 | $137 |
| 50K | $136 | $165 | $156 | $185 |
| 100K | $229 | $279 | $264 | $314 |
| 150K | $322 | $386 | $367 | $436 |
The ETFPROMO code takes 30% off these prices, so the cheapest one (25K Intraday with DLL) comes down to $70. Resets are billed separately and run from $70 to $320 depending on size and setup.
Evaluation parameters
| Account | Target | Max loss | DLL (if enabled) | Contracts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,250 | $1,000 | $600 | 2 minis / 20 micros |
| 50K | $3,000 | $2,000 | $1,200 | 4 minis / 40 micros |
| 100K | $6,000 | $3,000 | $1,800 | 6 minis / 60 micros |
| 150K | $9,000 | $4,500 | $2,700 | 10 minis / 100 micros |
There is no time limit to pass it, no activation fee and the payment is one-time, with no monthly rebilling. The 50% consistency is your best day divided by total profit, and Lucid builds a small cushion into the calculation so the evaluation can be passed in two days.
The funded account
- 🟢 90/10 split in favour of the trader.
- 🟢 Daily payouts, no fixed window, $500 minimum and no per-payout cap.
- 🟢 No consistency rule once funded.
- 🔴 The drawdown becomes intraday in every case, even if your evaluation was EOD.
- 🔴 Red folder news trading is prohibited: it is a hard breach. You must be flat from one minute before through one minute after the event.
- 🟡 There is a non-withdrawable buffer equal to your max loss plus $100. You can only withdraw what sits above it.
To request a payout you need two things at once: to be above the buffer and to have made positive net profit since your previous payout (one dollar is enough). Once approved, the money goes out within two business days.
Buffer and maximum daily profit
| Account | Buffer (non-withdrawable) | Maximum daily profit |
|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,100 | $6,000 |
| 50K | $2,100 | $8,000 |
| 100K | $3,100 | $10,000 |
| 150K | $4,600 | $12,000 |
That daily cap is not a payout limit: it is the point where Lucid takes you out of sim. Meet or exceed it and you enter the move to a live account, where the buffer funds your starting live drawdown and sim profits above the buffer are paid out capped at $15,000 in total.
What does NOT change
LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect keep their prices, rules and structure. LucidDaily is an added option, not a replacement.
Who is it for?
- Traders who want to get paid often and do not mind an intraday drawdown once funded.
- Traders who would rather pay less and accept a daily loss limit that stops them on bad days.
- Traders who want the opposite: no DLL and EOD, paying for the most expensive version in exchange for more room.
- It does not suit news traders, because in the funded account that costs you the account.
Verdict
The interesting part of LucidDaily is not the price, which is in line with the rest of Lucid''s lineup, but that it lets you pay for exactly the conditions you are going to use. The gap between the cheapest and the most expensive version is around 35%, and the deciding factor should be your risk management, not the saving: if you tend to string losses together on a bad day, the DLL protects you and costs less on top of that.
Watch two details before buying. First, the funded account is always intraday: if you come from trading EOD, the drawdown will move with you during the session. Second, the buffer: until you clear your max loss plus $100 you cannot withdraw anything, and that part stays in the account for good.
