We have removed Alpha Futures from our recommendations
We have removed Alpha Futures from our ranking, comparator and discounts, effective immediately, after the closure of the Premium Plan with pending payouts left unpaid and the end of the NinjaTrader/Tradovate deal. We keep the review and news as information only. Other aggregators (Prop Firm Match, PropFirmWise, PickAPropFirm) have done the same.

We have removed Alpha Futures from our recommendations —quality-price ranking, comparator and discounts—, effective immediately. The firm stays on the site as an informational page (review and news), but we no longer recommend it or send affiliate traffic to it while this situation lasts.
Editorial decision by ElTraderFinanciado as of 14 July 2026, based on the official statements from Alpha Futures and Tradovate and on verified public information. We will update it if the situation changes. For the full context, see our news post on the end of the NinjaTrader deal and the closure of the Premium Plan.
What we have done
- Removed it from the quality-price ranking and the cheapest-accounts lists.
- Removed it from the comparator.
- Pulled its discount from /descuentos and disabled the affiliate link.
- Kept the review and news as information: we don't recommend them, we document them.
Why
The core issue is not that Alpha lost a platform. Losing a platform is an operational problem, and a survivable one. The problem is different:
- 🔴 Already-earned payouts at risk. With the closure of the Premium Plan, Alpha refunds the accounts but, according to its own statement, does not honor pending payouts beyond those already paid. A trader should not lose a payout they already earned by following the rules.
- 🔴 Unequal treatment across plans. Alpha offers migration to AlphaTrader for Zero, Advanced and Direct accounts, but not for Premium Plan traders, whose accounts are closed.
- 🔴 End of the NinjaTrader/Tradovate deal (12 July 2026): no new accounts can be issued on those platforms and users are forced to migrate to Alpha's own platform, AlphaTrader.
- 🟡 Operational uncertainty and prior complaints about payout delays.
We are not the only ones
Other aggregators in the space have made the same call in recent days: Prop Firm Match, PropFirmWise and PickAPropFirm have delisted Alpha Futures from their listings, citing the Premium Plan closure, the unpaid payouts and the uncertainty around the firm.
Our standard
We rank and recommend with the trader in mind, not the commission. When a firm stops honoring already-earned payouts, it leaves our recommendations no matter how well it performs for us as an affiliate. This is not a final verdict on Alpha: it is a protective measure. We can reverse it if the situation clears up and affected traders get paid.
If you have an Alpha Futures account
- Check the status of your AlphaTrader migration (Zero, Advanced or Direct) or your refund (Premium) in your dashboard and email.
- Document your pending payouts and any open requests (screenshots, dates, amounts).
- Do not buy new accounts until the situation clears up.
Verdict
Alpha Futures was, for months, one of the firms we recommended. That is exactly why we pull the recommendation the moment the firm crosses the line of not paying what has already been earned. We keep its page as information so you can follow the case, but we don't promote it. We will update this post with any official news.
Frequently asked questions
Can I still trade with Alpha Futures?
Yes. Alpha is still operating and is migrating Zero, Advanced and Direct accounts to its AlphaTrader platform. Our decision is to stop recommending it, not a shutdown of the firm.
Why keep the review if you removed it from your recommendations?
Because the review is information, not a recommendation. We prefer to document what happens —including this news post— rather than erase the trail. What we remove is the active promotion: ranking, comparator, discount and affiliate link.
Will you recommend Alpha Futures again?
It is reversible. If the situation clears up and affected traders, especially those on the Premium Plan, get paid what they are owed, we will reassess bringing it back to our recommendations.
What happens to pending Premium Plan payouts?
According to Alpha's statement, Premium accounts are closed with a refund, but pending payouts are not honored beyond those already paid. If this affects you, document your case and contact the firm's support.
