Apex Trader Funding Cuts Prices and Launches No-Activation-Fee Mode (2026)

By El Trader Financiado

Apex Trader Funding's Trailing Intraday accounts are now up to $35 cheaper, and with the new mode you can skip the Activation Fee entirely. In Trailing EOD the evaluation price goes up, but the Activation Fee drops harder and the final total still falls. All calculated with the ETFPROMO coupon at 90% off.

Apex Trader Funding Cuts Prices and Launches No-Activation-Fee Mode (2026)

Apex Trader Funding has moved three levers at once in the checkout: evaluation price, sim funded Activation Fee, and a new no-Activation-Fee mode. The net effect: the total cost to reach sim funded drops across all 4 account sizes in both plans — even in Trailing EOD, where the evaluation price goes up. > Data verified on May 27, 2026 against the official Apex Trader Funding website. For always-up-to-date prices, check the Apex Trader Funding review or the available discounts.

What changes

1. The Trailing Intraday plan lowers all its prices: the evaluation, the Activation Fee, and the final total. 2. Trailing EOD goes up on the evaluation, but the total goes down: the Activation Fee drops harder than the evaluation rises. 3. Activation Fees: $20–$30 less per account across all sizes and plans. 4. New "no-fee" mode: the evaluation costs more, but the Activation Fee is $0. 5. Reorganized packs: only ONE PACK (one account) or FIVE PACK (five with a volume discount). 6. Internal rules unchanged: 50% consistency, payouts, scaling, and everything else stays the same. Five changes: four go down, one goes up, and three rules stay put. If that's still confusing, the tables below translate everything into dollars.

Summary: the Trailing EOD base evaluation goes up (except 100K, which stays nearly flat). But the Activation Fee cut more than offsets the evaluation increase, and the total drops across all 4 sizes. The "no-fee" mode always comes out cheaper than "with fee" if you end up activating the sim funded.

The new 5-account pack with volume discount

Apex adds a 5-evaluation pack with a volume discount, alongside the classic single pack. Here are the per-account price and the real savings versus buying 5 accounts separately, broken down by plan.

Trailing Intraday

The "Per account" column shows what each evaluation costs within the 5-pack. Prices with ETFPROMO coupon at 90% off; the Activation Fee is separate if you activate the sim funded.

Trailing EOD

Prices calculated with the 90% discount. Evaluation only: in "with fee" mode you pay the Activation Fee separately for each account you activate; in "no-fee" mode the Activation Fee is $0.

Buying the 5-pack is cheaper than buying 5 accounts separately: you save between $20 and $100 depending on size and mode. It only makes sense if you plan to use all 5 evaluations within the 30 days each one lasts. Apex does not show a 5-pack for EOD no-fee at 100K and 150K on the public website (marked as n/a).

Frequently asked questions about Apex Trader Funding's new prices

When do the new prices take effect?

Apex applied the new prices on its official website starting May 27, 2026. The ETFPROMO coupon at 90% remains active through June 4. After that date, the discount returns to a permanent 50%.

What happens to Trailing Intraday accounts bought before the change?

Accounts already purchased keep the conditions they were bought under. The change only affects new purchases from May 27, 2026 onward.

Is the "no-fee" mode the same as the old Static account?

No. The Static was a drawdown variant without trailing. The "no-fee" mode is a pricing option: you pay more for the evaluation and in exchange you pay no Activation Fee when moving to sim funded. The trading rules are identical to Standard mode.

Why is Apex raising the Trailing EOD evaluation price?

Apex has not explained it. The most reasonable reading: EOD drawdown is more forgiving than trailing intraday, and that already justifies a higher price. The paradox is that even though the evaluation price goes up, the total cost to reach sim funded still drops — thanks to the Activation Fee cut. You come out ahead in the end, even if the headline seems to say otherwise.

Are there 250K or 300K accounts at Apex?

No. Only 25K, 50K, 100K, and 150K appear on the official website. Larger sizes were removed from the catalog in previous updates, and this change does not bring them back.

Can I combine the "no-fee" mode with the 5-pack?

Yes, for Trailing Intraday and Trailing EOD 25K–50K. Apex does not show a 5-pack for EOD "no-fee" at 100K and 150K on the public website.

Do the new Activation Fees apply to already-active sim funded accounts?

No. Only to sim funded accounts activated from May 27, 2026 onward. If you activated before that date, you keep the Activation Fee you paid.

Does the ETFPROMO coupon also work in "no-fee" mode?

Yes. The 90% discount from the ETFPROMO coupon applies to all four modes (with fee and no-fee, Trailing Intraday and Trailing EOD).
